High Priest of Belinik, prove a hard nut to crack.

attack the Dieman colony of Shaeme. They are thrown back, and the Duke
retaliates with an invasion of Mieres. Seaward is quickly laid siege to.

Diemed are resolved, Raenech turns his attention to Aerenwe. The western
provinces are overrun, and Cariele comes under siege. The Queen Tasaenae and

surrenders, and Raenech appoints General Darr as his vassal in Aerenwe. Dhoenel

of Talinie is deported to DantierIsland. Everything seems
lost, until a detachment of Raenech’s Iron Guard and Haelynite templars join up
with Brandon Boer, Lord of the Western Isles, and start fighting back.
1527Duke Diem tries to
assassinate Count Aglondier while they are in the ImperialCity
to work out a peace treaty between the. The attempt fails. Seems the Duke also
blames Aglondier for Lasica’s death and other evils. Count Aglondier’s tries to
have Diem condemned, but this is largely drowned out by more important events.
1527After dealing with the Kingdom of Aerenwe, King Raenech turns to her ally
Elinie. Despite stiff resistance, the Patriarch Assan ibn Dautoa cannot
withstand the might of the Iron King and his many vassals. Assan, who cannot
with good conscience serve Raenech, abdicates in favor of his son Rashid, who subsequently
swears vassalage to the King of Ghoere.

Choice. He immediately declares war on Avanil.

make trouble for the good temples of Anuire.

Chaerles goes missing, presumably taken by one of the King’s enemies (he’s got
quite a few). Among the most likely suspect is the Sword Mage, prince Avan,

and the WIT are becoming more vocal in their opposition to the “wicked usurper”.

great arcane conflagration Markazor, turning it into a barren wasteland, and
seemingly destroying Raenech and his men as well.

Crusade – and King Raenech is not dead, having been given shelter by the elves
of Tuarhievel during the height of the destruction of Markazor.
1529Duke William of Osoerde
takes command of the Crusade and leads to north and east to the gates of
Mur-Kilad. There the Gorgon’s generals suffer a major defeat as King Raenech
appears at their rear while they engaged with Duke William. The dwarves shut
themselves inside the mountain, leaving the passes and the road into the
Gorgon’s Crown unguarded…
1529Prince William of Coeranys
has meanwhile somehow crossed into Kiergaard (some say the elves of the
Sielwode helped him, others that the dwarven king of Baruk-Azhik allowed him
passage) and poses a threat to the Gorgon’s flank.
1529King
Raenech leads his army to Battlewaite. Heavily reinforced by troops from
Roesone, the King defeats the Gorgon upon the plain of Battlewaite, but is
himself killed in the fighting.

the time being.

own rule.

the siege of their underground realm.
1529Markazor
is divided, with two provinces going to Roesone, two to Mhoried, two to
Dhalaene, and one to Osoerde.
1529Baron
Roesone continues his siege of Battlewaite. The Gorgon does not show himself at
all, leading some to speculate that he might be dead or have fled.
1529Grand-Maester
Isilviere of the Knights of Haelyn secures the city of Fellport, allowing Müden to send supplies to
the Anuirean forces in the Crown.
1529The
High Prefect finally merges the Lyeshan (a demigoddess) Temple of the Dawn with the IHH, setting of a
heated debate within the ranks of clergy, laity, and worshippers alike.
1529The
re-colonization of Aduira continues. Diemed has a small enclave along the
northern coast of Aduria, west of Mieres.
Along the east coast House Zenneth is carrying their banner south and claiming
new lands. Further to the west, beyond Tenouire, there is a Brosengan enclave
and more recently one aligned with the moon priests of Medoere.
1529The
storm is finally unleashed from the five Peaks, as bandits, outlaws, and evil
humanoids band together to lay waste to the surrounding countryside.
